SCBC will engage in in-depth IUR cooperation with Hoseo University
On April 11, Vice President Park Seol-ho of Hoseo University and his delegation visited SCBC. Supervisor Gu Yeli and Vice President Lai Zhili received the guests at the International Conference Hall. At the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on Industry-University Research(IUR) cooperation and reached a preliminary intention to work together in creating a high-end research team, building a platform for international exchange and cooperation, and pushing towards breakthroughs in scientific research and development.
In his speech, Lai Zhili hoped that the cooperation would move ahead further in more areas on top of the traditional cooperation such as student and faculty exchange and reciprocal visits, taking full advantage of the research platform of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Airport Economy.
Park Seol-ho introduced Hoseo University to the meeting, including its history and advantages in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and research facilities. He said that Hoseo University, with a comprehensive system of industry-university-research system, would like to see more cooperation in international exchange, airport economy studies and practice-oriented student training.
Gu Yeli gave an introduction to SCBC, highlighting its achievements in international exchange and cooperation and scientific research. He emphasized that SCBC’s education always has a focus on opening to the outside world as a way of improving the quality of cultivation. He hoped that this meeting could promote in-depth and multi-level cooperation and exchange in more areas between the two universities.
