To be a young teacher doesn't mean not to be experienced. The first time I worked as a teacher, I was still a university student. I used to be then a private tutor for teenagers who needed additional lessons in order to pass their high school exams.
Afterwards, I got my first professional skills as a university teacher in my province, Asturias, where I used to work with Chinese and American students of Spanish language. Before arriving to China, I improved my knowledge through a Masters degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language and I worked for one year in Russia.
I have worked with students of different backgrounds, wide range of ages and several mother tongues. In my experience with students there are private lessons, university classrooms, language schools and children camps, either in the cold winter of Russia or the hot summers of Spain.
One of the reasons why I moved to China is the sad economic situation of my country. There, I couldn't work as a teacher and I used to work in several jobs, such as Pharmacy customer or technician.
But also, working now in China is an exciting and demanding opportunity I have to give the best I can, but also to learn as much as possible from a different culture and people. I hope not to disappoint neither my high expectations nor any of my students.
