在阅兵式上的讲话
同志们：
今天，我们在这里举行隆重的沙场阅兵，以庆祝中国人民解放军建军90周年。
90年前，南昌城头一声枪响，宣告中国诞生了中国共产党领导的新型人民军队。90年来，人民军队高举着党的旗帜，脚踏着祖国的大地，背负着民族的希望，浴血奋战，勇往直前，战胜一切敌人，征服一切困难，为中国人民站起来、富起来、强起来建立了不朽的功勋！
历史充分证明：我们的人民军队不愧是听党指挥的英雄军队，不愧是忠心报国的英雄军队，不愧是为中华民族伟大复兴英勇奋斗的英雄军队。我们党为拥有这样的英雄军队感到骄傲和自豪！全国各族人民为拥有这样的英雄军队感到骄傲和自豪！
安享和平是人民之福，保卫和平是人民军队之责。天下并不太平，和平需要保卫。今天，我们比历史上任何时期都更接近中华民族伟大复兴的目标，比历史上任何时期都更需要建设一支强大的人民军队。我们要深入贯彻党的强军思想，坚定不移走中国特色强军之路，努力实现党在新形势下的强军目标，把我们这支英雄的人民军队建设成为世界一流军队。
全军将士们！你们要坚定不移坚持党对军队绝对领导的根本原则和制度，永远听党的话、跟党走，党指向哪里、就打到哪里。
全军将士们！你们要坚定不移坚持战斗力这个唯一的根本的标准，聚焦备战打仗，锻造召之即来、来之能战、战之必胜的精兵劲旅。

A Speech at the Military Parade
Comrades,
Today, we hold the grand ceremony of battlefield military parade here to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army of China.
90 years ago, the gunshot over the wall of Nanchang announced the birth of a new type of people’s army under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in this country. During the 90 years, this people’s army, holding high the Party’s banner, standing on foot onto the motherland, shouldering the hope and wish of the nation, experiencing countless bloody battles, marching forward in defiance of any hardships, defeating all the enemies and overcoming all the difficulties, has attained imperishable exploits for the Chinese people to rise, to become rich and to become powerful.
History has adequately proved that our people’s army deserves to be a heroic army under the command of the Party, utterly faithful to the motherland and fighting bravely for the great rejuvenation of our Chinese nation. Our Party takes pride and glory in such a heroic army! Our peoples of all nationalities take pride and glory in such a heroic army!
Enjoying peace is people’s happiness and defending peace is the duty of the people’s army. Now the world is not yet peaceful and the peace should be defended. Today, we are much closer to the aim of our nation’s great rejuvenation than any period in history; and we are in much greater need to build a powerful people’s army than ever before. We should thoroughly implement the Party’s idea of reinforcing the army, take the road of reinforcing the army with Chinese characteristics in firm and sure steps, work hard to accomplish the Party’s aim of reinforcing the army under the new situations, so that our heroic people’s army be constructed into a 1st rate army in the world.
All the officers and soldiers! You shall unswervingly hold the fundamental principle and system that the Party has the absolute leadership over the army, listen to the Party forever, follow the Party forever; wherever the Party guides, you shall fight there.
All the officers and soldiers! You shall unswervingly hold fighting capacity as the only fundamental standard, focus on the preparation of war to forge crack and invincible troops that are able to come immediately at a call, able to fight upon their arrival and sure to conquer as they fight.
